At the African Caucus 2025, Kallot, the Congolese-Central African CEO of the AI platform Amini, encouraged young female developers, founders, and students in Bangui to use digital technology to drive local progress.
Rather than merely selling products, Kallot aims to establish an ecosystem that empowers young African developers:
“I don’t want to build a company just to sell a product. I want to create an ecosystem that enables others to build themselves — for Africa, from Africa”, Kallot said in an interview.
Her visit highlights CAR’s growing digital potential, with increasing connectivity (up from 14% to 30% since 2023) and ambitious goals: Seventy percent of the population should be online by the end of 2025. For Azarel Lumière Biboli, the CEO of Biz Academy, the meeting was a wake-up call. “We realized that we can be part of big projects, too, and that our country produces people with impressive vision.” Meanwhile, the Ministry of Youth is planning five innovation centers and a national startup fund.
