Bangui, December 2, 2025 – Yesterday His Excellency Professor Faustin Archange Touadéra, President of the Central African Republic, addressed the Nation on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic - a moment both of remembrance and renewed ambition.
In a speech marked by reflection and resolve, the President of the Republic paid tribute to the Founding Fathers, saluted the courage of the nation’s defense forces, and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to peace, sovereignty, and development: “Our destiny is not written elsewhere. It is written here - every day - by our hands and in our hearts.”
President Touadéra underscored the resilience of a nation that has rebuilt itself through dialogue, reconciliation, and reform. He called on citizens to uphold the Republic’s core values - faith, morality, and humanism - as the moral foundation of the new 7th Republic.
Amid upcoming national elections, his message resonated as a call for unity, responsibility, and democratic maturity - a vision of a Central African Republic that stands tall, sovereign, and at peace with itself.
“The Republic is never a finished work - it is built every day by faith, discipline, and compassion,” Touadéra highlighted.
The celebrations concluded with a large parade on the Avenue des Martyrs, showcasing the dynamism of the nation’s youth, the vitality of its democracy, and the unity of a country moving forward with confidence.
